Mulligan’s has been pouring pints since 1782 and has now grown in size from several separate houses. Known as the ‘home of the pint’ it’s renowned for its quality Guinness. With old worldly dicor and a local atmosphere, it does have one other claim to fame; it used to be the local watering hole of James Joyce and it’s even thought that some of Ulysses was penned at that very same bar. Take a copy with you to read while you enjoy a pint music traditional of the finest Guinness.
Outloud! Bookstore and REVIVE Coffeehouse present two free movie nights oriented towards the GLBT scene. Victor’s free movie nights are on Tuesdays with various men’s oriented films and Victoria’s free movie nights are on Wednesdays with various women’s oriented films. Viewings and admission to both nights are free. The bookstore and coffee house is located at 1703 Church Street in downtown Nashville, TN. The point I’m making is that even the almighty major record labels are succumbing to the power of websites because websites have a way of authentically connecting with people that magazines don’t anymore.
